The leader is the keeper of the vison; it’s their job to fly the flag and keep vision casting. But it’s so much more than that. The leader must also go the way, live what they talk and walk with the team; go on the same journey. The higher call of leadership then moves to show the way. Actions must be cognizant of context and consistent with the vision.

The team is watching, taking their cues, seeing what’s acceptable. We get the behaviours we walk by.
